Abstract
THE POLICE BUILDING SHOULD FACILITATE THE NEEDS OF THE AGENCY PERSONNEL, THE GENERAL PUBLIC, AND PRISONERS. THE ARTICLE DISCUSSES THE DESIGN FEATURES WHICH SHOULD BE FRIENDLY AND BUSINESSLIKE IN ATMOSPHERE. COMMENTS ARE THEN MADE ON FUNCTIONAL LAYOUT WHICH SHOULD CORRESPOND TO THE NEEDS OF EACH OF THE THREE GROUPS WHO WILL BE USING IT.
