Abstract
The report outlines the legislative mandate, organizational structure, and objectives of the Commission and provides an overview of its personnel and budgetary resources. Activities of the Commission are reported in the quasi-judicial area of complaints review and in the areas of regulation and administration. Summary information is also given on police training; obligations of the police corps with respect to maintaining public order, peace, and security; the manpower strength of the police forces as well as the costs of maintaining them.
