Abstract
THE BOOKLET INCLUDES A DISCUSSION OF PROCEDURES TO BE FOLLOWED IN DEFENDING THE CLIENT AGAINST ANY CRIMINAL CHARGES THAT HE MIGHT FACE HIMSELF. INVESTIGATION AND LITIGATION CONSIDERATIONS ARE EXPLAINED. TWO SAMPLE CRIMINAL CASES INVOLVING CHARGES OF POLICE MISCONDUCT ARE REVIEWED. SEVERAL SUGGESTIONS FOR SEEKING REDRESS FOR ABUSE BY THE POLICE, THROUGH SUCH MEANS AS POLICE REVIEW BOARDS AND STATE AND FEDERAL ACTIONS ARE GIVEN.
