RESULTS OF A QUESTIONNAIRE REGARDING GENERAL ATTITUDES AND SPECIFIC BEHAVIOR OF THE POLICE INVOLVED IN A SPRING 1970 DISTURBANCE AT OHIO STATE UNIVERSITY.
Abstract
THIS STUDY WAS DESIGNED TO DEPICT POLICE ATTITUDES REGARDING THEMSELVES, THEIR WORK, CROWD BEHAVIOR, STUDENTS, AND RELATED MATTERS. THE STUDY ALSO EXAMINED HOW SUCH ATTITUDES AND PERCEPTIONS MIGHT RELATE TO POLICE BEHAVIOR IN STRESSFUL SITUATIONS, AND HOW POLICE PERCEPTION DIFFERED FROM THAT OF THE PRESS, IN THIS PARTICULAR EVENT.
