THE UNITED STATES BOARD OF PAROLE ADDRESSES ITSELF TO THE ENTIRE FIELD OF PAROLE REVOCATION AND SETS FORTH THE AREAS WHICH ARE DEEMED DEFINITIVE, TOGETHER WITH THE APPROACH WIICH WILL BE USED IN EACH. IT IS RECOGNIZED THAT THE PRESENT REQUIREMENTS DO NOT REPRESENT A STATIC CONDITION, BUT ARE INDICATIVE OF THE ENLARGING INTEREST AND DEVELOPMENT IN THIS AREA. THE MATERIAL PRESENTED IS, FOR CONVENIENCE, DIVIDED INTO PHILOSOPHY, INFORMATION-EVIDENCE, PRELIMINARY INTERVIEW, AND REVOCOATION HEARING --SETTING--CONTINUANCES. AS FUTURE STATUTES, CASES, OR THE DICTATES OF PRACTICALITY REQUIRE, IT IS THE BOARD'S INTENTION TO REVISE THIS POLICY PAPER, CONSISTENT WITH SUCH REQUIREMENTS. (AUTHOR MODIFIED)
