Abstract
THE HARRIS AND GALLUP POLLS ARE THE SOURCES OF MOST OF THE DATA. THE QUESTIONS ELICIT RESPONSES CONCERNING THE PUBLIC'S PERCEPTION OF THE CAUSES OF CRIME, CAUSES OF JUVENILE DELINQUENCY, AND THE LENIENCY OF THE LAW ENFORCEMENT SYSTEM TOWARDS CRIME.
