A DESCRIPTION OF THE DEVELOPMENT, USES, DIMENSIONS, AND FEATURES OF THE STREAMLIGHT SL-20 RECHARGEABLE FLASHLIGHT WHICH OFFERS A SIGNIFICANTLY INCREASED LIGHTING CAPACITY, EQUIVALENT TO A LOW BEAM CAR HEADLIGHT.
Abstract
THIS FLASHLIGHT USES A NEW TUNGSTEN-HALOGEN BULB AND A SPECIAL SPUN ALUMINUM ONE-PIECE REFLECTOR. IT IS 12 INCHES FROM LENS RIM TO CASING END, AND WEIGHS ONE AND THREE-QUARTERS POUNDS. IT IS REPORTED THAT THE SL-20 IS NINE TIMES MORE POWERFUL THAN TWO-CELL FLASHLIGHTS, AND FIVE TIMES MORE POWERFUL THAN FIVE-CELL FLASHLIGHTS. A SPECIALLY-DESIGNED HOLDER/CHARGER CAN BE MOUNTED IN THE EMERGENCY VEHICLE TO INSURE THAT THE SL-20 IS ALWAYS FULLY CHARGED. (AUTHOR ABSTRACT MODIFIED)
