THE AUTHOR ANALYZES STATE AND FEDERAL JUDICIAL DECISIONS ON THE RIGHTS OF MINORS, AND CONCLUDES THAT THE ARIZONA RULES OF PROCEDURE FOR THE JUVENILE COURT SHOULD BE AMENDED TO PROHIBIT THE WAIVER OF CONSTITUTIONAL RIGHTS IN A CUSTODIAL SITUATION WITHOUT THE ADVICE OF COUNSEL.
