This slide/tape program instructs security officers at all types of health care facilities in how to prepare professional notes and reports.
Abstract
It teaches security officers what information should be kept in a notebook, points out the differences between investigative and operational notetaking, and suggests the appropriate questions to ask at an incident. The program also teaches them how to give accurate suspect descriptions and emphasizes the importance of cooperation with other criminal justice professionals. It includes exercises and a leader's guide, which provides additional training points, learning objectives, and a script.
