Abstract
THE VARIOUS LAWS AND POLICIES CONCERNING THESE MINOR OFFENSES ARE DESCRIBED. THE POLICE OFFICER IS PRESENTED WITH EXAMPLES OF SITUATIONS INVOLVING THESE TYPES OF CONDUCT AND IS ADVISED ON THE WISEST ACTIONS TO TAKE. THE PAMPHLET CAUTIONS POLICEMEN TO BE SENSIBLE ABOUT ENFORCING VAGRANCY AND LOITERING LAWS. SINCE FIGHTS AND FAMILY QUARRELS ARE AMONG THE MOST FREQUENT INCIDENTS WITH WHICH THE POLICE HAVE TO DEAL, WAYS IN WHICH THESE SITUATIONS CAN BE HANDLED ARE PRESENTED.
