Abstract
Federal agencies are those that provide a variety of governmental resources and services by distributing literature, conducting research, providing grants, and offering technical assistance. National organizations and agencies can provide various kinds of assistance and information to individuals and groups, ranging from publications and media resources to technical assistance and referrals to other agencies. The directory also includes government agencies and Statewide organizations in Michigan which offer statistics, training, speakers, and printed materials. The final section lists the 18 regional agencies in Michigan which coordinate local substance abuse services, Michigan affiliates of the National Council on Alcoholism and Substance Abuse, and other local and regional organizations.
