Abstract
THE ANALYSIS OF DATA ON DISPOSITION TIME, PROSECUTION AND CONVICTION RATES, DISPOSITION PATTERNS, AND CASELOADS PROVIDES A CONTEXT FOR ASSESSING THE OUTCOMES OF THE COURT PROGRAMS AT THE NATIONAL LEVEL. SUMMARY DESCRIPTIONS OF THE OBJECTIVES AND FUNCTIONS OF INDIVIDUAL COURT PROGRAMS ARE INCLUDED. AN APPENDIX CONTAINS SPEEDY TRIAL RULES AFFECTING FELONY COURTS IN IMPACT CITIES.
