Abstract
THE AUTHORS FOUND CANADA WITH A RATE OF 93.3 PERSONS IN PRISON PER 100,000 PERSONS IN THE POPULATION TO HAVE A RATE SIMILAR TO THAT OF OTHER COMMONWEALTH COUNTRIES AND NORTHERN RURAL U.S. STATES, BUT MUCH HIGHER THAN SOUTHERN EUROPEAN OR SCANDINAVIAN COUNTRIES AND MUCH LOWER THAN FINLAND OR THE MORE POPULOUS U.S. STATES.
