THE AUTHOR DESCRIBES POTENTIAL PROBLEMS FOR PROBATION AND PAROLE OFFICERS PRESENTED BY RECENT US SUPREME COURT DECISIONS REQUIRING TWO STEP REVOCATION HEARINGS FOR PROBATION AND PAROLE VIOLATORS.
Abstract
INTERSTATE AGREEMENTS AND COOPERATION AND MODIFICATION OF THE SUPREME COURT DECISIONS ARE RECOMMENDED SO THAT PROBABLE CAUSE AND REVOCATION HEARING REQUIREMENTS WILL NOT REQUIRE INTERSTATE TRAVEL AND EXTRADITION OF CLIENTS BY PROBATION AND PAROLE OFFICERS.
