A REVIEW OF EVALUATION LANGUAGE CONTAINED IN LEGISLATION ENACTED BETWEEN JANUARY 1967 AND MARCH 1974, PRESENTED IN TABULAR FORM.
Abstract
TABLES ARE INCLUDED TO DESCRIBE THE SPECIFIC CHARACTERISTICS OF EVALUATION REQUIREMENTS IN THE LAWS REVIEWED. THE TABLES SHOW FOR EACH LAW THE SECTION REQUIRING EVALUATION AND THE SPECIFIC WORDING IN THE LEGISLATION WITH RESPECT TO WHO IS RESPONSIBLE FOR THE EVALUATION; WHAT MEASURES OF PROGRAM EFFECTIVENESS AND METHODS OF DATA COLLECTION AND ANALYSIS ARE TO BE USED IN THE EVALUATION; THE RECIPIENTS OF ANY REPORTS REQUIRED, WHEN THE REPORTS ARE TO BE MADE, AND THE NATURE OF RECOMMENDATIONS TO BE INCLUDED IN THIS REPORT; AND, WHETHER ANY FUNDS WERE SPECIFICALLY AUTHORIZED FOR EVALUATION.
