This report provides information on performance data for implementation grantees of the Adult Drug Court Discretionary Grant Program for the period October 2012 - March 2013.
Abstract
Key findings from this report on performance data for implementation grantees of the Adult Drug Court Discretionary Grant Program for the period October 2012 through March 2013 include the following: for the 2 quarters in the reporting period, 95 percent of grantees reported data in the Performance Measurement Tool (PMT); among drug courts, 80 courts received 84 grants or subawards and reported performance measurement data in the PMT; and on average, drug courts receiving implementation grants have been operational for about 2.5 years, while 42 percent have been operational 3 years or less. This report also provides information on program- and participant-level key measures, such as expected number of individuals served versus new participants, number of drug court candidates screened and found ineligible for participation, reasons drug court candidates are ineligible for program participation, reasons why drug court candidates eligible for program participation do not enroll, and graduation rates from drug court programs. This report highlights performance measures from the Adult Drug Court Discretionary Grant Program for the period October 2012 through March 2013. The aim of the program is to provide assistance to build and/or expand drug court capacity at the State, local, and tribal levels to reduce crime and substance abuse among high-risk, high-need offenders.
