Abstract
THE LEGISLATION PRESENTED IN THIS TEXT WAS CHOSEN BECAUSE OF ITS DIRECT RELATION TO THE PROBLEMS OF THEFT, DESTRUCTION, AND ILLICIT EXPORTATION OF CULTURAL GOODS. INFORMATION PROVIDED INCLUDES THE TITLE OF THE LAW, THE DEFINITION OF CULTURAL PROPERTY UNDER THAT LAW, THE RIGHTS OF OWNERSHIP LISTED IN THE LAW, CONTROLS PLACED ON FIELD RESEARCH, EXPORT RULES AND CONDITIONS, LAWS CONCERNING TRANSFER OF OWNERSHIP, AND THE GOVERNMENTAL ADMINISTRATION RESPONSIBLE FOR THE PROTECTION OF THE CULTURAL PROPERTY.
