In an effort to promote the use of psychics as investigative aides in criminal investigations, this book is a comprehensive manual of operations for using psychics in criminal investigations in a disciplined, efficient, and professional manner.
Abstract
The material in the book is based on the personal experiences of the authors over several decades, as well as on other first-person accounts from law enforcement personnel. After establishing the need for this operations manual, the text presents a brief history of psychic criminology, outlines the various types of psychic ability relevant to criminal investigations, and then reviews the evidence and theories of paranormal phenomena. The authors then explain the identification, recruitment, testing, and use of psychics, with attention to the methods and procedures for efficient and effective investigative work with psychics. The significant role of extrasensory perception in the daily life of the investigator is also examined. Throughout the book, the authors present summaries of actual cases that have involved psychics, so as to illustrate the topics being discussed. This second edition has extensively edited and rewritten the first edition, and it includes a new section on remote viewing as well as a new chapter on documented case histories, along with a response to the critics of paranormal functioning. A 78-item bibliography, a glossary, and an appended sample Intuitive Investigation Report Form
