THE AUTHOR FINDS MOST PATIENTS TO BE SUFFERING FROM A COMBINATION OF THESE DISTURBANCES WHICH REQUIRE A VARIETY OF THERAPEUTIC APPROACHES. AMONG THESE THE AUTHOR BRIEFLY OUTLINES THE FOLLOWING - GIVING THE PATIENT A SENSE OF PROPORTION, DEVELOPING THE PATIENT'S PERSONALITY STRUCTURE, AND ELICITING A CATHARTIC INSIGHT BY THE PATIENT INTO THE NATURE OF HIS DISTURBANCE.
