This text offers the papers presented at a conference on reform in the Chilean Public Ministry that was held in Santiago (Chile) on October 6-7, 1993.
Abstract
The conference was intended to investigate the real, not abstract, concepts of Public Ministry reform for this Chilean government office, based on the experience of Spain and the United States. Papers also addressed the relationship and effects of the Public Ministry on the penal process and criminal politics, and the current Chilean Public Ministry configuration is described. Each paper also has comments from various Chilean academic and government officials.
