Abstract
WITH FEW EXCEPTIONS THE SURVEYS REPORTED HEREIN WERE DESIGNED TO BE REPRESENTATIVE OF HOUSEHOLDS IN THE CONTINENTAL U.S.; AND, EXCEPT FOR SOME DRUG-RELATED STUDIES, THE SURVEYS HAVE FOCUSED ON RESPONDENTS 18 YEARS OF AGE OR OLDER. TOPICS SURVEYED INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING: FEAR OF CRIME, PERCEPTIONS OF LAW ENFORCEMENT AGENCIES AND OF THE COURTS, SUGGESTED SENTENCES, LEGISLATED CRIMINAL SANCTIONS, GUN CONTROL LEGISLATION, PERCEPTIONS REGARDING DRUGS, USE OF DRUGS, AND CAUSES OF CRIME.
