PROPOSES THE JOINT USE OF ELECTRIC TIME-STAMPING MACHINES AND TACHOGRAPH RECORDERS TO INSURE PROPER COMMUNICATIONS PROGRAM EVALUATION.
Abstract
THE ELECTRIC TIME-STAMPING MACHINES UTILIZES DATA CARDS DURING THE DISPATCHING PROCESS WHICH COLLECTS TELEPHONE CALL RECEIPT TIME, FIELD UNIT (PATROL CAR) DISPATCH TIME, FIELD UNIT ARRIVAL TIME, AND FIELD UNIT CLEARED SCENE TIME. THE TACHOGRAPH RECORDERS CONTAIN STYLUS' WHICH RECORD ON 24 HOUR GRAPH CHARTS ACTUAL RESPONSE TIME OF THE FIELD UNIT, SPEED OF THE RESPONDING VEHICLE DURING TRANSIT, MILEAGE TRAVELED DURING RESPONSE, AND USE OF EMERGENCY LIGHTING EQUIPMENT DURING RESPONSE.
