EXAMINATION OF THE PAROLE PROCESS, STRESSING THOSE SITUATIONS WHICH BEAR DIRECTLY ON THE OFFENDER'S CAPABILITY TO MEET ITS CRITERIA.
Abstract
THE AUTHOR'S GENERAL THESIS IS THAT THE PAROLE PROCESS, AS IT IS NOW CONSTITUTED, FAILS TOO OFTEN IN ITS OBLIGATIONS TO ASSIST THE OFFENDER TO REINTEGRATE INTO SOCIETY. SEVERAL SUGGESTIONS ARE OFFERED FOR IMPROVING CONDITIONS TO ASSURE A MORE FAVORABLE RECORD OF PAROLE SUCCESS. (AUTHOR ABSTRACT)
