A REVIEW OF THE PROGRAMS OF THE FEDERAL BUREAU OF PRISONS IS MADE TO DETERMINE THEIR SUCCESS IN MEETING OBJECTIVES SET TO PREPARE FEDERAL OFFENDERS TO REENTER SOCIETY.
Abstract
THIS REPORT FOUND THAT THE BUREAU HAS MADE PROGRES IN DEVELOPING EDUCATIONAL, VOCATIONAL, AND RELATED PROGRAMS FOR REHABILITATING FEDERAL OFFENDERS, BUT IN RELATION TO THE TOTAL PROBLEM, THIS PROGRESS HAS BEEN LIMITED. PROGRAM PARTICIPATION, EFFORTS TO TREAT UNDESIRABLE CHARACTER TRAITS, JOB SKILL DEVELOPMENT, AND JOB PLACEMENT SERVICES WERE EXAMINED.
