This review guide contains multiple-choice questions to test students’ knowledge of all aspects of criminal investigation.
Abstract
This review guide was specifically developed to help students learn and self-test the material contained in the Sixth Edition of Fundamentals of Criminal Investigation. The 44 chapters in the review guide correspond to the 44 chapters in the textbook. The 1,600 questions test students on the following topics: preserving and recording the crime scene, collecting and analyzing evidence, interviewing and interrogating witnesses, identifying suspects, rules of evidence and presenting testimony in court. The book places special emphasis on investigating major crimes. It includes fill-in-the-blank, complete-the-sentence and “all of the following...except” questions. The letter representing the correct answer for each question appears at the end of each chapter along with the number of the textbook page where the question originated. Also included are the number and letter of the general subdivisions of each chapter to help locate the references for students using other editions of the textbook.
