Abstract
IMPROVEMENTS MADE IN COURT ADMINISTRATION AS A RESULT OF THE CREATION OF THE POSITION ARE DISCUSSED AS ARE PROBLEMS ENCOUNTERED BY THE COORDINATOR IN PREPARING DOCKETS FOR SUCH A LARGE AREA. RECOMMENDATIONS FOR ESTABLISHING A CENTRAL OFFICE FOR THE 69TH JUDICIAL DISTRICT AND A MANAGEMENT STRUCTURE FOR IT, REDUCING THE SIZE OF THE DISTRICT BY CREATING A NEW DISTRICT FOR DEAF SMITH AND OLDHAM COUNTIES, AND IMPROVING THE PRESENT DOCKET SYSTEM ARE MADE. APPENDED INFORMATION INCLUDES A PAPER BY A JUDGE ENTITLED 'PRESIDING OVER A DOCKET' AND COPIES OF MANUAL DOCKETING FORMS USED IN HARRIS COUNTY (TX) COURTS.
