THE FACTORS THAT AFFECT THE DEVELOPMENT AND THE POSSIBLE DELINQUENT BEHAVIOR OF ADOLESCENTS ARE SYSTEMATICALLY ANALYZED IN THIS WORK.
Abstract
THE AUTHOR REVIEWS THE VARIOUS STAGES AND FACTORS IN THE PERSONALITY DEVELOPMENT OF THE ADOLESCENT. HE REVIEWS THE PARTICULAR FACTORS THAT CONTRIBUTE TO MALADJUSTMENT, PARTICULARLY AS THESE MAY RESULT IN DELINQUENT BEHAVIOR. HE PLACES PARTICULAR STRESS ON THE NEED FOR EARLY DIAGNOSIS OF SERIOUS MALADJUSTMENT AND PROPOSES THE ESTABLISHMENT OF REGIONAL DIAGNOSTIC CENTERS AND THE TRAINING OF SPECIALIZED EDUCATORS TO ASSIST ADOLESCENTS IN MEETING THEIR PROBLEMS. HIS OBSERVATIONS REGARDING THE PROCESS OF MALADJUSTMENT ARE SUPPORTED BY SURVEYS AND CASE STUDIES. --IN SPANISH
