Abstract
There was an overall decrease in reported crime in 1980 compared to the previous year. The total number of crime reports investigated during 1980 amounted to 467, of which 395 were accepted as true. This was a decrease of 21.2 percent against the 1979 figure of 593. Data are presented regarding juvenile delinquency, criminal investigation, the fingerprint bureau, courts, police supervision, and traffic. Statistics are given pertaining to visits and distinguished visitors, organization of the force, other specialized branches such as women police and the emergency response unit, welfare and recreation, and other police duties. Tables supplement the text.
