Abstract
The main role of the commission is to promote adequate and effective policing by promoting the preservation of peace, crime prevention, police efficiency, and improvement of police-community relations through regulations, audits, reviews, the provision of information, and serving as an appellant organization regarding police suspensions and decisions of hearing officers. The report provides demographic and police employment information for individual jurisdictions in Saskatchewan, summarizes the commission's budgets, meetings, and other activities, and lists and describes police training events during the year.
