INTERVIEW WITH THE HARVARD PROFESSOR WHO REFUSED TO DIVULGE THE SOURCES USED IN HIS ACADEMIC WORK TO A GRAND JURY INVESTIGATING DANIEL ELLSBERG.
Abstract
FOLLOWING HIS UNSUCCESSFUL INVOCATION OF THE FIRST AMENDMENT, HE WAS HELD IN CONTEMPT AND JAILED. HIS COMMENTS ON BEING QUESTIONED BY THE GRAND JURY REVEAL HOW DISCONCERTING IT IS FOR LAYMEN TO BE ASKED DELICATE LEGAL QUESTIONS WITHOUT BENEFIT OF COUNSEL.
