THIS REPORT SEEKS TO LAY A FOUNDATION FOR SERIOUS CONSIDERATION OF POLYGRAPHY IN JUDICIAL, LEGISLATIVE, AND PROFESSIONAL ARENAS.
Abstract
POLYGRAPHY IS ONE OF THE MOST EFFECTIVE SCIENTIFIC TECHNIQUES DEVISED FOR PROTECTION OF THE INNOCENT IN LAW ENFORCEMENT, PRIVATE INDUSTRY, AND GOVERNMENT THUS FAR. COVERED IN THIS DISCUSSION ARE THE DIRE NECESSITY OF ADEQUATE POLYGRAPH LICENSING LAWS IN ALL STATES. ACCURATE STATISTICS BASED ON LIVE CASE EXAMPLES IN DOMESTIC AND PATERNITY CASES CAN SEPARATE HEARSAY AND PSYCHOLOGICAL SUBJECTIVITY FROM THE HIGHLY RELIABLE REALM OF POLYGRAPHY OBJECTIVITY.
