This volume presents revised versions of many of the papers submitted for the Second National Conference on Court Management, which was held in Phoenix, Ariz. in September 1990.
Abstract
The conference was presented by the National Center for State Courts, with cosponsorship of the National Association for Court Management, Conference of Chief Justices, Conference of State Court Administrators, and the National Conference of Metropolitan Courts. Individual papers focus on the history and current status of court management, the role of the judiciary in court management and court reform, court organization, changes in judicial and management education, factors affecting public attitudes toward the courts, and ways in which public knowledge and attitudes could be improved.
