A substantial body of research has been generated regarding the failure of behaviorally disordered adolescents and their ability to assimilate basic social skills.
Abstract
Learning appropriate behavioral controls and academic competencies falls short in providing a comprehensive program which effectively prepares the student for reintegration into the mainstream of society. This article presents a detailed description of an integrated program that includes skill context in (a) Personal Development, (b) Work Assistance, (c) Communication and (d) Life Skills.
