This Resource Book published by the Tribal Law Policy Institute aims to provide basic information on sex trafficking to Tribal Coalitions.
The Sex Trafficking in Indian Country: Victim/Survivor Resource Book (Resource Book) is intended to provide Tribal Coalitions with basic information on sex trafficking as it impacts Native people and to provide access to direct services that may assist victims/survivors of sex trafficking. The need for this resource became evident when a Native victim/survivor from a tribal community attempted to escape her abuser and requested help from tribal advocates, a situation that is common for tribal advocates and Tribal Coalitions serving Native victims/survivors. The primary goal of this Resource Book is to provide an extensive list of holistic resources and services for victims/survivors. Each state with a Tribal Coalition is included in this Resource Book, seventeen states in total.
