Abstract
THIS VOLUME, THE SECOND IN A TWO PART SERIES ON STUDENT PROTEST, HAS CITATIONS TO LITERATURE ON STUDENTS IN THE U.S. AND IN FOREIGN NATIONS. THE U.S. BIBLIOGRAPHY SOURCES DATE TO THE BEGINNINGS OF AMERICAN HIGHER EDUCATION, AND ARE DIVIDED INTO HISTORICAL AND CONTEMPORARY STUDIES. THE FOREIGN CITATIONS, WHICH DATE FROM AFTER WORLD WAR TWO, ARE ORGANIZED BY COUNTRIES WITHIN GEOGRAPHIC REGIONS. ONE SECTION WHICH IS PARTICULARLY USEFUL IS THE CHAPTER ON COUNTERPROTEST TACTICS AND THE SECURITY FORCES. FOR THE FIRST VOLUME IN THIS STUDY, WHICH OUTLINES THE HISTORY OF STUDENT PROTEST IN THE U.S. AND OFFERS A FRAMEWORK FOR ANALYZING CURRENT DISORDERS, SEE NCJ-008811.
