Abstract
Requests, denials, renewals, and approvals for police to use electronic surveillance in investigations relating to drugs and organized crime are shown. Case examples illustrate how electronic surveillance contributed to the arrest and conviction of individuals involved in organized crime activities. Appendixes include updated figures for 1981, 1980, 1979, and 1978.
