THIS STUDY EXAMINED THE CRIMINAL RECORDS OF 1070 MALES, ADULT INMATES OVER A FIVE YEAR PERIOD FOLLOWING THEIR INCARCERATION IN AN ONTARIO, CANADA, CORRECTIONAL INSTITUTION.
Abstract
DIVERSE PERSONAL CHARACTERISTICS AND BEHAVIOR PATTERNS WERE ANALYZED WITH RESPECT TO THE PROBABILITY OF RECIDIVISM. IT WAS FOUND THAT INMATES' AGES, ENCEPHALOGRAMS, AND CRIMINAL HISTORIES ARE PARTICULARLY IMPORTANT INDICATORS OF FUTURE CRIMINAL BEHAVIOR. (AUTHOR ABSTRACT)
