Abstract
The data on criminal justice systems includes the number and types of criminal justice agencies and employees; criminal justice expenditures; workloads of agency personnel; and the statutory, regulatory, and administrative characteristics and practices of criminal justice agencies. Results are also presented for national public opinion polls regarding fear of crime; capital punishment; correctional reform; gun control; drug abuse; and the performance of the police, courts, and corrections agencies.
