Abstract
FIVE PHASES OF THE PROJECT - THE COUNCIL ITSELF, SEQUENTIAL TRAINING, SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM, TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE, AND DEVELOPMENT OF RESOURCE DOCUMENTS AND A NEWSLETTER ARE EVALUATED. CORRECTIONAL AGENCIES IN THE SOUTHEAST HAVE GREATLY EXPANDED DEGREE OF CONTACT AND INTERCHANGE OF STRATEGIES AND TECHNIQUES AS A RESULT OF THE PROJECT. COUNCIL BY-LAWS AND MEMBERS ARE LISTED IN ATTACHMENTS. QUESTIONNAIRES USED TO EVALUATE THE WORKSHOPS SPONSORED BY THE COUNCIL TO FULFILL ITS SEQUENTIAL TRAINING FUNCTION ARE ALSO INCLUDED.
