Abstract
THE AUTHOR IS A POLICE LEGAL ADVISOR FOR THE DENVER, COLORADO POLICE DEPARTMENT. THE DENVER DEPARTMENT HAS ADDRESSED THE U.S. SUPREME COURT, THE COLORADO SUPREME COURT AND THE COLORADO LEGISLATURE ON A VARIETY OF ISSUES INCLUDING STOP AND FRISK, SEARCH AND SEIZURE, AND JUVENILE ARREST AND INTERROGATION PROCEDURES. THE AUTHOR STATES THAT THE ARTICULATION OF POLICE PROBLEMS WAS A FACTOR IN OBTAINING DESIRABLE RESULTS.
