PROCEDURE FOR ADMINISTERING QUESTIONS ON A POLYGRAPH TEST IN CASES WHERE THE NORMAL TESTING SERIES FAILS TO PRODUCE A DEFINITE DIAGNOSIS, PRESUMABLY BECAUSE OF A LACK OF CONCERN BY THE SUBJECT ABOUT THE EXAMINATION AS A WHOLE.
Abstract
THE THEORY OF THE SPECIFIC CONCERN TESTING PROCEDURE IS BASED ON THE APPLICATION OF THE REID CONTROL QUESTION POLYGRAPH TECHNIQUE. THIS TECHNIQUE USES TEN OR ELEVEN QUESTIONS ENCOMPASSING IRRELEVANT, RELEVANT, AND CONTROL QUESTIONS. THE LATTER ARE QUESTIONS UNRELATED TO THE MATTER UNDER INVESTIGATION, BUT WHICH CONCERN TOPICS OF A SIMILAR NATURE.
