Probation and parole officers' perceptions of volunteer services are assessed through perceived quality of the volunteers' performance, potential for responsibilities, and advantages and limitations of volunteer services.
Abstract
Results indicated officers were satisfied with and supported various volunteer activities. Additionally, officers viewed volunteers as a resource which could be used in handling caseloads. (Author abstract)
