This report describes the work of the Colorado Supreme Court in fiscal year 1979-80.

Abstract

Subjects covered include the court's caseload and appeals, activities of the Colorado Court of Appeals, the work of district and county courts, the training of judges and court staffs, fiscal management, case processing, public information, judicial performance evaluation, and efforts of the Judicial Planning Council. Experiments in civil case management to shorten the time required for civil cases to proceed through the system, the civil delay pilot program, and a telephone conferencing project scheduled to begin in 1981 are highlighted.
