This annual report presents statistics and pertinent information about the Nebraska Department of Correctional Services for the period July 1, 1980, to June 30, 1981.
Abstract
An organizational chart, roster of facilities, and reports from the department's various divisions (administrative, adult and juvenile, and community-centered services) are included. Each division's functions and programs offered are delineated. The adult division offers special programs to drug abusing inmates and to female inmates with children, and the juvenile division offers peer counseling programs. The community-centered division has established work and educational release programs and parole programs. Offender/inmate statistics are appended.
