Abstract
Staff development and training was achieved through attendance at local and national conferences and workshops. Programs were publicized through mailings of brochures, victim information cards, posters, speaking engagements, conference displays, press releases, and quarterly newsletters. The Crime Victim Reparation Board met five times during the year to review summaries of claims processed by staff, hear appeals, review grants, and establish rules to clarify the Crime Victim Reparation statute. Crime Victim Reparation staff provided training to criminal justice agencies, social service programs, victim service organizations, and others. The program also maintains a victims' resource center providing videotapes, educational, and service brochures. Figures, tables, map, photographs, and summaries of subgrantee activities
