This statistical report reflects the work of State and local courts in Arkansas for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 1994, and ending June 30, 1995.
Abstract
The first section of the report covers appellate courts, with emphasis on Supreme Court and appellate court caseload activities, petition activities, written opinions, and dispositions. The second section is concerned with general jurisdiction courts and contains a map of judicial districts in Arkansas and data on circuit and chancery court caseloads, case processing times, case filings by type, case filings per judge, dispositions, pending cases, civil and criminal caseloads, probation caseloads, and juvenile caseloads. The third section deals with limited jurisdiction courts, specifically municipal court filings and caseloads. The final section includes miscellaneous information on public defenders, judge assignments, court interpreters, and judicial education and a weighted caseload summary. Tables and figures
