Abstract
Data for the Arkansas Supreme Court cover caseload activity, petition activity, written opinions, and disposition summary for fiscal year 1999-2000. Caseload activity is also shown for fiscal years 1995-96 through fiscal year 1999-2000. Caseload activity, petition activity, written opinions, and disposition summary are reported for calendar year 2000. Similar data are provided for the court of appeals. Caseload activity is reported for general jurisdiction courts, along with data on the ranking of circuit and chancery courts by filings per judge. Summary tables are provided for criminal caseloads, civil caseloads, chancery caseloads, probate caseloads, and juvenile caseloads. Data on limited jurisdiction courts encompass municipal and city courts' filings and caseloads. "Miscellaneous" tables pertain to the Public Defender's Report, judicial assignments, the Court Interpreter's Program, and the Judicial Resources Assessment Committee.
