ANALYSIS OF DISTRIBUTIONS, SAMPLING, REGRESSION AND CORRELATION, TIME SERIES AND FORECASTING ARE AMONG THE SUBJECTS COVERED WITH SPECIFIC INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE SOLVING OF PROBLEMS. POLICE RECORDS ARE CONSIDERED FROM THE POINT OF VIEW OF STATISTICS. FORMS AND QUESTIONNAIRES, EDITING AND CODING PROCEDURES ARE DISCUSSED, AND METHODS OF TABULATION AND THE MAJOR MACHINES ARE ILLUSTRATED.
