Abstract
INCLUDED IN THIS REPORT ARE A HISTORY OF THE ORGANIZATION OF THE TEXAS JUDICIARY, A REVIEW OF PAST REFORM PROPOSALS, AND DESCRIPTIONS OF THE COMMITTEE HEARINGS HELD IN VARIOUS LOCATIONS THROUGHOUT TEXAS. THE JUDICIAL REFORM EFFORTS OF THE SIXTY-SECOND TEXAS STATE LEGISLATURE ARE DESCRIBED. THE COMMITTEE RECOMMENDATIONS ON JUDICIAL ADMINISTRATION, THE APPELLATE COURT SYSTEM, DISTRICT COURTS, TRIAL COURTS, COURT PERSONNEL, STATE FINANCING OF THE JUDICIAL SYSTEM, AND RULES OF COURT.
