Abstract
THE METHODS OF INDUSTRIAL ESPIONAGE INCLUDE USE OF THE PATSY, THE UNDERCOVER OPERATOR, TRESPASSER, LISTENING DEVICES, AND DIRECT OBSERVATION. THE INDUSTRIAL SPY HAS ALSO EMPLOYED THE SURVEY OR QUESTIONNAIRE METHOD OF OBTAINING INFORMATION, RUMMAGED THROUGH DISCARDED TRASH AND SCRAPS, USED CHICANERY IN INTERVIEWING JOB APPLICANTS, AND WHEEDLED INFORMATION OUT OF SUBCONTRACTORS AND VISITORS AND CUSTOMERS.
